Sift together: 2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
Bring to boil: 4 T. Hershey's unsweetened Baking Cocoa
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
Add boiling mixture to sugar & flour & mix well.
Add: 2 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk (or just sour your milk)
1 t. soda, 1 t. cinnamon & 1 t. vanilla
Pour into a greased & floured 12x17" pan & bake 15 minutes @ 400. Prepare icing while cake is baking.
Icing:
Boil: 4 T. Hershey's unsweetened Baking Cocoa
6 T. milk
1 stick butter
Add to this mixture:
1 box powdered sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Beat until smooth & spread on hot cake.
